Design Your Own Advanced Certificate

Choose any nine modules from any disciplines to create an advanced certificate. Focus only on subjects of interest to you with no core or compulsory modules.

Our self-designed courses are a great way to put together the modules that suit your specific goals and learning needs. It is also more cost effective than studying each module separately.

• If you sit exams you will receive a Statement of Attainment for each module

• If you choose not to sit exams, you will receive a Letter of Completion for each module

When you complete all modules and exams in your course you will receive an Advanced Certificate. The certificate will be given a name which best reflects the subjects which comprise the course of study but it can't be the same as one of our existing advanced certificate titles. For example, if you included more subjects relating to domestic animals it could be entitled Advanced Certificate in Pet Care & Wellbeing.

This page is to enrol into an approved Self Designed Proficiency Award. Once you have completed the "Build your own course" form and had it approved by our academic staff members, you are then able to enrol into this course.
