The covid pandemic and subsequent lockdowns in 2020/21 forced a move into remote working in many parts of the world.While the idea may have started as a largely "temporary" concept, the practice of working remotely has been shown to have significant advantage, and has been embraced as a permanent component of work practices in many parts of the world and many industries.
