ACS has been working in horticulture, gardening and landscaping for the past three decades.
The principal, John Mason has been editor of for garden magazines, and is author of over 40 gardening books. He is a fellow of the UK Institute of horticulture and a fellow of Australia's Parks and Leisure Institute.
The college staff includes a dozen qualified and skilled horticultural experts, from across Australia, the UK and New Zealand.
Staff come from varied backgrounds: with both teaching and hands on vocational experience (including ex university, vocational college and training staff; research academics, etc). Courses cover e learning or traditional studies; flexible education options for career (jobs), self improvement, professional development, life skills or general adult education.
ACS offers over 200 gardening courses, from short courses for the home gardener; to long, fully professional qualifications for the horticulturist.
